In other news, no one on the website “Jambands.Com” cares that Joan Baez is touring with the Indigo Girls. Or cares about Joan Baez. Or the Indigo Girls for that matter. What in the hell is this story even doing here? Can you imagine the “man hate” that’s gonna be permeating the room at those shows? Sheesh…

Baez has never been an over the top woman’s
libber, Bab’s. She has been known to make fun of and criticize the certain aspects of the movement. Baez and the Indigo Girls are both major talents at any rate.

Well, I suppose you and I define “major talents” differently then taddyd1. To each his (or her) own I guess.

I don’t know where bab’s got the idea that Joan baez is anti male, it just goes to show that when someone has NO Idea what they are talking about, they really should refrain from posting. Joan Baez is an internationally loved artist who has always been identified with being pro people, reguardless of sex, race, orientation or whatever.

I don’t care what your opinions are – I just saw the Indigo Girls and Joan Baez in concert last night and they were GREAT! at the end all three of them sang 3 songs together. There was no man-hating going on at that concert, lots of men were there including my husband. We went for the talent and great singing, not the politics.
