Huey Lewis & The News are celebrating the 30th anniversary of their 1983 hit record, Sports, with the release of a deluxe edition of the album as well as an extensive U.S. tour. Lewis personally oversaw the expanded, digitally remastered version of Sports, which will include a second disc of live versions of the nine tracks on the original album, many of which have never been released. Sports (30th Anniversary Edition) will be released on May 14 on Capitol/UMe.

In addition, Huey Lewis & The News will perform a song from Sports on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars on Tuesday, April 2 and Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday, May 15. In May, the band will embark on the “Sports 30th Anniversary Tour” across North America, performing the album in its entirety. A full list of confirmed dates can be found below, and more TV appearances and U.S. and international dates will be announced soon. For several cities, Lewis has only confirmed the cities he will play—not the venues he will hit—for certain markets.
