311, Cypress Hill and G. Love to Tour Together

311 have announced the details for their annual multi-band Summer Unity Tour. The tour launches on July 2 in Kansas City, MO and runs through August 3rd in Chula Vista, CA. This year’s events will also include Cypress Hill and G. Love & Special Sauce. Presale tickets go on sale on April 9 at 311’s ticketing site, and the general public on-sales begin April 12. There will also be VIP packages available, including meet-and-greets and limited edition merch. More details on VIP packages can be found here.

Their are not many tours that can rival just how bad this tour is. I can only think a KISS and STYX joint tour would be worse.

i think this tour actually sounds like loads of fun man. nice summer day, some drinks maybe some smokes if you like that, sun, pretty young girls. 311 is actually a really good live band and pretty funky and jammy live. cypress hill i have no idea if they are good live but they are really about as fun as music comes. g. love is a pretty cool dude who has some good songs, my sis likes his live shows. all in all it wouldnt be my fav day of music and i wouldnt pay tons of money and go out of my way. but if they were gonna be close by and the tix were like $20 i bet you could go and have a blast all day to some tunes you could actually dance to, too. i can see why people would think they were to cool for school but if you took the stick out yo ass and just let the day take you away this sounds like a party waiting to happen.
