Though Eric Clapton confirmed the lineup for his upcoming Crossroads Guitar Festival a few months ago, the show’s schedule has remained a secret. But the festival’s details have started to emerge as the event draws near. As previously reported, Crossroads will take place at New York’s Madison Square Garden on April 12 and 13.

Earlier today Eric Clapton’s camp revealed to Rolling Stone that he will open the shows’ April 12 festivities with a solo acoustic set as well as that he would close out the two-day event with a headlining set on April 13. Clapton also mentioned that he would sit in with April 12 headliners The Allman Brothers Band on the event’s first night.

A few hours later, former Band guitarist Robbie Robertson confirmed that he will perform at Crossroads on April 13. The guitarist will offer three songs during the multi-band event. Given that Robertson rarely performs in public, he is one of the event’s biggest draws. It is unknown whether he will offer material from The Band’s repertoire, songs from his new album How to Become Clairvoyant—which features Clapton—or other songs.
