Footage from CBS’ The Red Skelton Hour, which was on the air from 1962-1971, is now available for licensing for the first time since its original broadcast. The Rolling Stones, The Beach Boys, The Kinks, The Hollies, Simon & Garfunkel, Three Dog Night and The Animals were among the acts who performed and were interviewed on the program during its nine-year run. Reelin’ in the Years Productions, the world’s largest music footage library, has acquired the rights to exclusively represent the footage. That has to be one of the funniest lip syncing compilations I’ve ever seen. Not one band could keep a straight face. Gold!
