The original Garage a Trois (Charlie Hunter, Stanton Moore, Skerik) will reunite for a special late-night show following Leftover Salmon’s performance at New Orleans’ Howlin Wolf on April 27 during Jazz Fest. As previously reported, Hunter, Moore and Skerik will also perform together at the Megalomaniacs Ball at the same venue on May 1. Tickets to the April 27 show with Leftover Salmon are currently on sale for $30.

The April 27 show is one of many slated for CEG’s Nolafunk JazzFest series. In addition to the above dates, CEG has announced some tweaks to their JazzFest lineup. Billy Iuso, Roosevelt Collier and Jusith Owen have now been added to the list of special guests for the May 2 Musicians Clinic Benefit. Papa Grows Funk’s Jazz Fest Farewell show on May 5 has also been expanded, with Allen Toussaint and Larry Bragg added to the lineup along with the Eric Bolivar Trio featuring Nigel Hall and Robert Mercurio. Both of those gigs will take place at The Republic in New Orleans.
