Tom Marshall Reveals New Song That He Wrote with Trey Anastasio

Tom Marshall has just posted a version of “Hotbox,” a new original song written with Trey Anastasio. Marshall explains, “A tip of the hat to Vegas or Atlantic City? I don’t know. We wrote this in 2011 when we were writing songs for Trey’s album Traveler. This one fell by the wayside…and probably should have stayed there…but it has a beat that won’t quit and it became the unofficial theme for me and my friends during the Atlantic City shows at Bader Field in June 2012.” “Hotbox” streams below.

This song is awesome. don’t get the hate at all. its catchy as all hell and I could see great grooves coming out of this in the live setting. relax you persnickety bastards
