Trey Anastasio’s Broadway musical Hands on a Hardbody will close after this Saturday evening’s performance, according to The New York Times. After this weekend’s shows, the musical will have played 28 previews and 28 regular performances.

The play suffered from sluggish ticket sales and mixed reviews but will likely tour nationally. According to the Times, the “musical grossed only $240,040 for eight performances last week, or about 22 percent of the maximum possible amount—almost certainly not enough to cover its weekly running costs.” The play’s producers recently appealed to Phish fans by offering special discounted tickets.

Tickets for Hands on a Hardbody range from $55 – $155, and are available at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre box office and at Ticketmaster.com.
