Greyboy Allstars celebrated their new studio album Inland Emperor with a two-night run at New York’s Brooklyn Bowl this past weekend. The group offered three sets on Friday night and two sets on Saturday, sprinkling several new originals across their five sets. The members of Greyboy Allstars also welcomed a few guests to the stage on Saturday night.

During their second set on Saturday, the group invited out a mini-horn section consisting of Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings’ Cocheme Gastellum and Tedeschi Trucks Band’s Maurice Brown. They appeared on both “Quantico, VA” and “Jungle Strut” and returned during Greyboy Allstars’ encore for “Kick to the Head Burrito on the Floor.” Gastellum is a longtime member of Greyboy Allstars keyboardist Robert Walter’s 20th Congress.
