Dickey Betts has cancelled his performances this weekend due to illness. In a note, the former Allman Brothers Band guitarist said, “It is with great regret that we have to announce that the shows scheduled for this weekend will need to be postponed. Due to doctor’s orders, Dickey is spending the weekend at home. All other shows are scheduled to go on as planned at this point. From Dickey himself, ‘The last thing I want to do is disappoint my fans, but right now I need to take care of my health first. I will be back on the road in no time!’”

Betts was slated to perform in St. Petersburg, FL on April 12 and Duluth, GA on April 13. Betts and & Great Southern will perform at Chicago’s City Winery on April 27 and 28.
