Luther Dickinson and Anders Osborne joined Phil Lesh, Jason Crosby, Tony Leone and Grahame Lesh for a Ramble at Terrapin Crossroads last night. The group kicked things off with a few Dead tunes like “Alabama Getaway,” “Dire Wolf,” “Cold Rain & Snow” and “Ramble on Rose.” The music didn’t stop for the second half of the first set, as North Mississippi Allstars’ “Hear the Hills” went into a jam of The Beatles’ “Tomorrow Never Knows” that segued into Anders Osborne’s “Burnin’ On The Inside” before closing out with “Goin’ Down The Road Feeling Bad.”

The second set began with a “Truckin’” that went into a jam of Howlin’ Wolf’s “Smokestack Lightning” that segued into the North Mississippi Allstars “Conan,” followed by “Cumberland Blues.” The Ramblers also played the North Mississippi Allstars’ “Shake (Yo Mama)” into Memphis Minnie and Kansas Joe McCoy’s “Joliet Bound” before wrapping the set up with “I Know You Rider.” For the encore, Dickinson moved over to the organ and handed his guitar over to Crosby for a take on Bob Dylan’s “Knocking on Heaven’s Door.”
