Trey Anastasio Band kicked off their spring tour at Seattle, WA’s Moore Theatre last night. Like his recent fall and winter runs, Anastasio’s setlist mixed material from his various solo albums with some choice covers. Of particular note, the guitarist played his original “Gone” with Trey Anastasio Band for the first time since October 21, 2008 (Anastasio performed the song with the Scorchio Quintet in 2010 as well as with Phish once each in both 2009 and 2010). A studio version of the song is slated to appear on Anastasio’s Record Store Day exclusive Blue Ash And Other Suburb.

In addition, Anastasio offered a solo acoustic take on “Wilson” for Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson. Before the song, Anastasio said that he had “been wanting to do this all football season.”

Trey Anastasio Band will perform at Portland, OR’s Crystal Ballroom this evening.
