Furthur played the third show of their nine-night Capitol Theatre run last night. The band kicked off the show with a cover of The Beatles’ “Here Comes The Sun,” and the first set also included a take on Bob Dylan’s “Just Like Tom Thumb’s Blues,” as well as the Furthur original “Big Bad Blues.”

The music never stopped for the second set, as every song segued into another. “Playing In The Band” started things off before going in to Traffic’s “Dear Mr. Fantasy.” That tune transitioned in to “The Wheel,” which was followed by “The Eleven,” “Other One,” “Wharf Rat” and “Sugar Magnolia” before it all wrapped up with a “Playing In The Band” reprise. The show came to close with a “Touch of Grey” encore.

As previously reported, Furthur guitarists Bob Weir and John Kadlecik joined Jay Lane and Friend for their after show at the Copacabana in Port Chester, NY.
