My Morning Jacket will tour with Bob Dylan this summer, according to an article in Milwaukee’s Journal Sentinel. In the interview, Jim James mentions that “My Morning Jacket will be on the road with Bob Dylan this summer,” along with a third “beloved band.” James appears in the 2007 Bob Dylan biographical film I’m Not There. My Morning Jacket also played a few Dylan covers during a 2007 show at New York’s Beacon Theatre tied to the film. They regularly played Dylan’s “Tonight I’ll Be Staying Here With You” for several years and occasionally pepper in other Dylan tunes.

James is currently touring in support of his first solo album. Dylan will spend this spring with another modern roots act, Dawes.
