Trombonist Jeff Cressman joined the Trey Anastasio Band for “Mozambique” during the first set of their show at Oakland, CA’s Fox Theater last night. Cressman, who is the father of current TAB trombonist Natalie Cressman, used to perform with Anastasio’s The Undectet project a few years ago. The show was heavy on tunes from Anastasio’s most recent album, 2012’s Traveler, but also included covers of The Five Stairsteps “O-o-h Child” and a take on the Page McConnell tune “Magilla.”
