MGMT have confirmed an intimate New York-area show. On June 20, the psychedelic rock group will perform at Montclair, NJ’s The Wellmont Theater. The group is touring in advance of their self-titled third album, which is slated for release in August. MGMT also released their new album’s first single, “Alien Days,” as a cassette-only single on Record Store Day (you can check out the song and its b-side “Message 7 from Hearty White” below). According to the band, the track serves as a stylistic bridge between their 2010 album Congratulations and the rest of MGMT. The group will perform in State College, PA on April 26.
