The members of The Revivalists sat in with Gov’t Mule at Wilmington, NC’s Greenfield Lake Amphitheater last night. The rising New Orleans summer stars also opened the evening.

At the end of Gov’t Mule’s set, saxophonist Rob Ingraham sat in on a show-closing “Blind Man In The Dark.” Then, Ingraham and some of his Revivalists bandmates—singer David Shaw, guitarist Zack Feinberg and multi-instrumentalist Mike Girardot—joined Gov’t Mule for a cover of John Lennon’s “Imagine” during the show’s encore. The members of The Revivalists joined Warren Haynes for the same cover during Christmas Jam this past December.

Gov’t Mule have also added an intimate show to the European Prepare to Shout! Tour. The quartet will perform at London’s
Under The Bridge on July 4. This is the final addition to the band’s European tour.
