Members of The Revivalists both opened for and sat in with Gov’t Mule at Cincinnati, OH’s Taft Theatre last night. During Gov’t Mule’s encore, Ed Williams (pedal steel guitar), David Shaw (vocals),Zack Feinberg (guitar), Rob Ingraham (saxophone), George Gekas (bass) and Michael Girardot (multi-instrumentalist) all emerged for a take on Bob Dylan’s “I Shall Be Released.”

During their second set, Gov’t Mule also debuted a cover of David Gilmour’s “There’s No Way Out Of Here.” The song originally appeared on the Pink Floyd guitarist’s 1978 self-titled solo debut.

Gov’t Mule will perform at Columbia, MO’s Blue Note on Monday.
