Furthur Add a Philadelphia Date

Furthur have added a date to their summer tour. On Saturday, July 13, the Grateful Dead offshoot will perform at Philadelphia, PA’s The Mann Center for the Performing Arts. The date falls in the middle of the band’s previously confirmed Northeast run.

The band performed in Atlantic City on Saturday night. Despite having to leave the stage early on Thursday night, Bob Weir was in fine form throughout Saturday’s show.

July 11 Brooklyn, NY—Barclays Center
July 12 Holmdel, NJ—PNC Bank Arts Center
July 13 Philadelphia, PA—The Mann Center
July 14 Cooperstown, NY—Doubleday Field
July 16 Gilford, NH—Meadow Brook
July 17-18 Boston, MA—Bank of America Pavilion
July 19 Canandaigua, NY—The Constellation Brands-Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center
July 20-21 Thornville, OH—All Good

Going FURTHUR this summer. Cannot wait. Have caught The Dead, New Riders, Diga Rhythm, Phil and Friends, Mickey’s Planet Drum and now I look forward to Further. So many folks cannot believe that I had not YET. I see DEADercise in my FUTURE. {;-D

Drew… no contest…. obviously the party will be in DC!!!.... Weir just collapsed on stage last week….. Looked like someone stuck a pin in a Wolfman-Jack balloon!!!! .... this band clearly needs more dates!!!!!

Well since if it wasn’t for the warlocks starting the jam band scene for the most part. There possibly might not be a phish band. I think respect should be put towards the o.g’s of the jam band scene subculture whatever. Putting phish up against furthur is like putting vanilla ice up against ice “T” o.g.

Over 100 shows, jerry band a bunch, many forms of neil young, lots of dylan., hundreds upon hundreds of others…and you knowwhat…I doesnt matter. Nothing you can hold …..for very long. Peace! Grateful eddie
