Influential Athens, GA group Neutral Milk Hotel will tour for the first time in over a decade later this year. Neutral Milk Hotel will play a few Southeast shows this fall, including a pair of hometown shows. Later in the year, they will head to Southeast Asia for additional dates. The group’s lineup will feature Jeff Mangum, Jeremy Barnes, Scott Spillane and Julian Koster. The ensemble has been on hiatus since 1998.

After living as a recluse for many years, Jeff Mangum returned to regular live performances in 2010. He toured in both 2011 and 2012, with Spillane sitting in on several occasions. He also released a box set of Neutral Milk Hotel recordings. A portion of concert proceeds and one dollar from every box set will be donated to Children of the Blue Sky and others in need.
