Toubab Krewe’s stage setlist

Lee Boys sacred steel player Roosevelt Collier made the rounds in New Orleans throughout the weekend. On Friday night, Collier joined Toubab Krewe at the House of Blues’ Parish Room for a few songs. In addition to his previously confirmed appearance with Tryptophunk, the pedal steel guitarist also sat in with Leftover Salmon at the Howlin’ Wolf on Friday night.

Yesterday Collier made his way over to the Jazz & Heritage Festival Festival to perform with Keith Frank & The Soileau Zydeco Band for their whole show on pedal steel. One highlight was their take on Curtis Mayfield’s “Move On Up.” Later in the day, Collier returned to the Parish to sit in with Greensky Bluegrass. Allen Toussaint watched the entire show from the audience.
