Vampire Weekend have confirmed their first full-scale New York arena show. The Manhattan-bred, Brooklyn-based band will perform at Brooklyn, NY’s Barclays Center on September 20.

The indie pop group confirmed the show after selling out New York’s Roseland Ballroom last night. The performance was webcast as part of the Tribeca Film Festival and directed by actor Steve Buscemi. SNL/_Portlandia_ star Fred Armisen opened the show and Steve Buscemi made an appearance onstage, too. Buscemi also joined the members of Vampire Weekend while they took part in New York’s Easter Day parade last month.

In other news, Vampire Weekend have confirmed their return to Saturday Night Live. The band will play NBC’s hallowed Studio 8H for the third time on May 11, with host Kristen Wiig.
