Rob Ingraham of the Revivalists sat in with Gov’t Mule at the Blue Note in Columbia, MO last night. The saxophonist joined the band on “Sco-Mule” toward the beginning of the second set. The show also featured covers of Frank Zappa’s “Trouble Every Day, “ Nirvana’s “All Apologies,” Steve Miller Band’s “The Joker” and Led Zeppelin’s “Whole Lotta Love.” The band also played “Gameface” with teases of Weather Report’s “Birdland,” The Allman Brothers’ “Mountain Jam” and the Beatles’ “Norwegian Wood,” while their cover of Albert King’s “Feel Like Breaking Up Somebody’s Home” included a tease of the Beatles’ “Eleanor Rigby.”
