Bela Fleck to Play with Colorado Symphony Tonight, Extensive Tour Scheduled

Bela Fleck will debut his symphonic banjo piece “The Landing” and perform his “Concerto for Banjo and Orchestra” with the Colorado Symphony at Boettcher Concert Hall in Denver tonight. Tickets to the show are still available for $27-$65 and can be purchased here. The show will begin at 7pm.

Fleck also has an extensive tour planned for the rest of 2013. The virtuoso banjo player will play a few gigs with the Marcus Roberts Trio in the Northeast before heading out West for a four-night stand at the San Francisco Jazz Center. Fleck will then join Abigail Washburn for a few dates in September. Later that month he will join Alison Kraus, Del McCoury, Sam Bush, Jerry Douglas and more at the International Bluegrass Music Association Convention in Raleigh,NC. Fleck also has a number of Banjo Summit shows set for later this year, as well as some gigs with the Nashville Symphony. A full list of his 2013 dates can be found below.
