Celtic punk band the Dropkick Murphys are releasing Rose Tattoo: For Boston Charity EP. The three-song relase features two live acoustic tracks as well as a newly recorded version of the band’s song “Rose Tattoo,” with special guest Bruce Springsteen. The live tracks are pulled from the band’s show in Las Vegas on April 19, 2013. The EP is exclusively available through iTunes for the small price of $1.29. The band and everyone else involved with the the release have agreed to donate 100% of the proceeds to The Claddagh Fund. The Claddagh Fund is a charity whose mission is to help out vulnerable members of the community. In this particular instance, the money will go to those affected by the Boston tragedy. The Dropkick Murphys have already raised more the $100,000 to help victims of the bombings.
