Sit Ins and Covers from Kung Fu at the Brooklyn Bowl

Consider the Source’s Gabriel Marin and Bill Evans’ Soulgrass’ Ryan Kavanaugh joined Kung Fu on Thursday during their set at the Brooklyn Bowl. The band went through a number of cult favorites, as well as new tunes that a are set to appear their forthcoming album Tsar Bomba. Marin took the stage with his double-neck fretless guitar for a take on Billy Cobham’s “Stratus,” while Cavanaugh came out with his banjo for “Paragon” and “Scarabb.” Jeff Bujak also opened the night with his experimental solo key show.
