Richmond, VA four-piece Former Champions have announced a southeast tour in support of their second album, Special FX Machine, which dropped in April of this year. The band describes their sound as “street music,” a blend of vocal-led compositions, instrumentally driven electronic pieces, and a multitude of drums, cymbals and percussion. For three of the July dates, the band will be joined by vocalist JeRel Crockett for “Former Champions presents, Startin’ Somethin’ – A Tribute to Michael Jackson.” You can stream Special FX Machine in its entirety here.
