John Fogerty has rerecorded his classic Creedence Clearwater Revival anti-war anthem “Fortunate Son” with the Foo Fighters. The song, which appears on Fogerty’s forthcoming album Wrote a Song for Everyone, has premiered today over at Rolling Stone. Wrote a Song for Everyone features a number of reworked tunes from throughout Fogerty’s career, with appearances by Keith Urban, My Morning Jacket, Brad Paisley and more.

As previously reported, Fogerty has a number of TV appearances scheduled in the coming days, including a performance with Dawes (who will appear on the cover of the June issue of Relix) tomorrow night on Late Night with David Letterman.
