Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds will release their next recording this fall. Fight is a four-song EP produced by Randy Jackson, who was recently liberated from his role as judge on American Idol. A note from the band reads, “The EP recording process is a wrap! It’s an honor for us to have the legendary Randy Jackson producing our next EP. He’s been in rehearsals with us and behind the console the whole time. We can’t say enough about how much we’ve learned from him and what an inspiration he is to all of us (if you click on the link on his name you can read his Wikipedia page – you know him from American Idol, but did you know he played bass with everyone from Journey to Aretha Franklin, Mick Jagger to Herbie Hancock?). We’re listening to the rough rough mixes now and we’re really excited to get these tracks out there. Keep you posted.”

The first single from the former Relix On The Verge alums is “The Long Way” which will premiere in July. Click here to watch Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds to perform live at Relix.
