CBGB, the now-defunct legendary New York punk club, has announced the dates for the second annual CBGB Music & Film Festival. The five-day festival/conference will take place from October 9-13 at venues throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn. The festival will celebrate what would have been CBGB’s 40th anniversary.

The Landmark Sunshine Theater on East Houston Street will serve as the festival’s hub and the event promises to be New York City’s largest ever showcase of music, film, art, social awareness and entertainment industry workshops and conferences. More than 700 emerging and established musical acts will perform at over 175 participating venues.

Last year’s inaugural CBGB Festival hosted hundreds of events in venues that ranged from hidden clubs and neighborhood theatres to free concerts in Times Square and Central Park. By the end of the week, more than 300,000 fans had attended a show.

There will be four different tier structures for badges for this year’s fest. “Early Bird” pricing ranges from $50-250 for different levels of access, before prices increase on July 2. All information about badges and pricing can be found here
