magicgravy to Play Phish After Show Aboard M.S. Dixie II

magicgravy will play a special Phish after show aboard the 520-passenger M.S. Dixie II. Dubbed the The Tahoe Steamer 2, the performance will take place after Phish perform in Lake Tahoe, CA on July 31. The cruise will sail from 12:30-3:30am (technically early morning August 1).

magicgravy features bassist Garrett Sayers (The Motet), drummer Dave Watts (The Motet), and guitarist Dan Lebowitz (ALO). M.S. Dixie II is the largest cruising vessel in South Lake Tahoe. Ticket price includes chartered round-trip bus ride from the Horizon Casino to Zephyr. Food and a cash bar will also be available on the ship.

What happened to THE MAGIC BEANS show on the steamer? Now it’s a different ‘magic’ band? Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE the sound of this trio, just curious what happened to the young ‘n up ‘n comers? Gotta build it of we want it to last…
