Bloodkin, Jerry Joseph with Jeff Crosby and the Refugees, Col. Bruce Hampton featuring AJ Ghent and The Heap will come together to celebrate the life of early Widespread Panic guitar tech. Wayne Sawyer next week. The benefit performance will take place at Atlanta, GA’s Smith’s Olde Bar on June 1 and will raise awareness and money for Sudden Arrhythmia Death Syndromes like Long QT. VIP tickets also include performances by Betsy Franck and Cameron Stack. A silent auction and raffles will also be held.

The benefit show falls during Joseph’s first tour with Jeff Crosby & the Refugees. During the tour, Jeff Crosby & Refugees will play a set of their own material and back Joseph for a second set of music. Crosby & the Refugees are touring in support of their new release Silent Conversations, which was released on Cosmo Sex School Records in March. Joseph’s band The Jackmormons will join the tour for two shows in Denver.
