Kevin Kendrick’s A Big Yes and a small no are nearing the end of a Kickstarter campaign for their next studio album. Led by vibes master, the group includes his Fat Mama collaborators Jonathan Goldberger, Jonti Siman, Joe Russo and Erik Deutsch. The musicians are trying to raise at least $6,000 to make and promote their first full-length record since 2008.

The band plans to track their album at Kendrick’s home studio as well as Goldberger’s Down Home Labs. Then, they will mix the album at at Don Piper’s studio Between the Tracks and master the project at Phish collaborator Fred Kevorkian’s Avatar Studios. Fans who donate will receive everything from a green A Big Yes and a small no hospital bracelet to a historic carousel tour to private lessons from many of the players who contributed to the album.
