Vampire Weekend, Passion Pit, Kendrick Lamar, Local Natives, Major Lazer, The Gaslight Anthem, Deer Tick and More Confirmed for September Boston Calling

Vampire Weekend, Passion Pit, Kendrick Lamar, Local Natives, Major Lazer, The Gaslight Anthem,The Airborne Toxic Event,
Wolfgang Gartner and Deer Tick are among the acts confirmed to appear at the second Boston Calling. The bi-annual festival’s second event will return to Boston’s City Hall Plaza on September 7 and 8.

The first Boston Calling festival took place this weekend, and the festival’s promoters confirmed Boston Calling’s September festivities from the stage. The National and fun. co-headlined the event.

“There was no better time for us to announce Boston Calling’s September return than when we could share it with the fans of our very first festival,” says promoter Crash Line co-founder Brian Appel, “we’re so appreciative of and motivated by all of the support we have received from fans, artists and the city. It’s an honor to bring Boston Calling back to our city.” Speaking to the lineup, Crash Line Co-Founder Mike Snow adds, “we love the diversity, energy, and innovation of the September bill, it feels like one big, post-summer Boston party.”

Okkervil River, Flume, Lucius, Big Black Delta, You Won’t and
Bearstronaut are also confirmed to appear at the festival’s September offering. Bowery Presents will once again co-promote the event.
