moe. Pay Tribute to The Office, Add Toronto Date

moe. celebrated The Office by jamming on the NBC sitcom’s theme on Wednesday night. The performance took place on the US version of The Office ’s home turf at Scranton, PA’s Toyota Pavilion at Montage Mountain. During their opening set for Dave Matthews Band, moe. jammed on The Office theme during “Buster.” moe. guitarist Al Schnier lives in another city that plays a prominent role on The Office, Utica, NY, where a rival Dunder Mifflin branch is located.

In other news, moe. will head to Canada in September. The group will perform at Toronto’s Danforth Music Hall on September 26.

Very cool… loved the Office, but it got stale until this last season when the writing was great again… can’t wait for freemoe. in a few weeks in Rockchester!!

Danforth here I come! Decently big venue, but moe. definitely won’t sell it out. It was only about half full when Umph played there in October. Honestly, if you wanna see these bands with waaaay less people around, see them in Toronto. Very different experience indeed!
