PBS Newshour Producer Mike Melia Releases Another Trey Anastasio Teaser
PBS Newshour producer Mike Melia continues to release teasers from his program’s upcoming interview with Trey Anastasio. In his most recent tweet Melia said, “Where does #Trey go for shows? “I go see the orchestra regularly, probably more than any other live music.” Melia also says that he plans to release some video previews in the coming days.
According to Melia, in his PBS Newshour interview Anastasio confirms that Phish is working on their first studio album since 2009. He also says the Vermont Quartet are writing at least some of their lyrics collectively. The members of Phish were recently rumored to be toying with some ideas in Vermont. The New York-based Anastasio also confirmed that he was recently in the Green Mountain State when he mentioned from the stage at Gulf Shores, AL’s The Hangout festival that he was “just in Vermont.”
