The inaugural White River Arts & Music Festival (WARMfest) will take place in Ripple Park, IN August 31-September 2. The three-day event will help the non-profit Carl G. Fisher Society preserve the waterfront of Broad Ripple. The new festival promises five stages of live music featuring local and national artists like Big Head Todd and The Monsters, Michael Franti & Spearhead, G. Love & Special Sauce and JJ Grey & Mofro, among others. WARMfest founder and Executive Director Dan Ripley ultimately hopes to reintroduce “Indianapolis to the Broad Ripple waterfront resort area that has been lost for decades.”
