Kinks guitarist Dave Davies played a free show at New York’s City Winery on Tuesday night. The evening celebrated the release of Davies’ new studio album __I Will Be Me_.

The outdoor show took place in the club’s “backyard space” as part of the winery’s 5th Annual Hudson Square Music & Wine Festival. An estimated 1,000 people attended the gig, one of the largest turnouts in the series’ history.

At the end of the night, The Jayhawks frontman Gary Louris joined Davies and his band onstage for “Remember The Future.” Louris appears on the studio version of the I Will Be Me track. Then, Davies and his band closed the night with the classic “You Really Got Me.”
