Papa Grows Funk’s Last Jam

Papa Grows Funk have confirmed the lineup for their The Last Jam weekend. After 13 years, the group will go on hiatus this summer.

On Friday, June 28, the Big Easy staples will host a free Fan Appreciation Party at New Orleans’ Carrollton Station from 7-10pm. Fans and friends are encouraged to “share their favorite stories and have a few laughs.” The evening will feature home-cooked food, a keg of beer and drink specials.

Then, on Saturday, June 29, the official The Last Jam will take place at New Orleans’ Tipitina‚Äôs Uptown. This show will also be filmed by ABIS Productions for the upcoming “funkumentary” on Papa Grows Funk.

Looking ahead, Gros will play an after Phish show with The Meter Men this July.
