Brad Paisley to Join the Rolling Stones Next Week

Brad Paisley will sit in with the Rolling Stones during their June 18 show at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. The band announced the news today via their Twitter account. As previously reported, guitarist Gary Clark Jr. will join the Stones tonight at Boston’s TD Garden.

The legendary band has featured special guests at almost every show on their current U.S. tour, including appearances by Tom Waits, Taj Mahal, John Mayer and Katy Perry. Most recently, the Stones were joined by Win Butler of Arcade Fire at the Bell Centre in Montreal on June 9 for a take on the Sticky Fingers track, “Dead Flowers.”

The Stones kick off a two-night run in Boston tonight, with the second show scheduled for Friday, June 14. After that, the band has two concerts in Philadelphia before their final date in the U.S. on June 24 at the Verizon Center in Washington, DC. After that, the band travels back to the U.K. where they will headline the Glastonbury Festival on June 29 before two final dates in Hyde Park on July 6 and July 13.

Like country music or despise it-Brad Paisley can play guitar like a madman virtuoso. Listen to him play; he is not ordinary. Still a strange sit-in …wonder if he’ll do “Dead Flowers” too
