Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood has hinted that the band is interested in recording a new album. Wood was asked about the possibility during an interview with WZLX, and Gigwise reports that the guitarist said, “Well it takes so much time and effort to take this thing back on the road, we’ve got the big wheels rolling now. We’ve just got to find the gaps to record.”

Wood reportedly also said that he believes the Stones are currently playing “better than ever,” and they have really enjoyed touring. The band recently recorded two new songs, “Gloom And Doom” and “One More Shot,” for their greatest hit compilaton GRRR!

As previously reported, The Rolling Stones recently wrapped up two nights at the TD Garden in Boston. They will be playing their next gig at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on June 18. Country star Brad Paisley is expected to join them as a special guest.
