Medeski Martin & Wood keyboardist John Medeski will partner with his old friends Club d’Elf for two shows this Friday. The performances will take place at Boston’s The Lizard Lounge at 8pm and 11:30pm. Medeski will be en route to North Adams, MA for a performance with MMW at Wilco’s Sold Sound Festival this Sunday.

In related news, MMW have confirmed a co-headlining date with their old friend John Scofield. The two acts will appear together at Salt Lake City, UT’s Red Butte Garden Amphitheatre on August 4. Sco will perform with the Uberjam Band, featuring Andy Hess, Avi Bortnick and Adam Deitch.
