Jimmy Cliff has been added to the lineup for the inaugural Interlocken Festival. The reggae pioneer released a critically acclaimed comeback album last year titled Rebirth. The record won the Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album and was named one of Rolling Stone‘s 50 Best Albums of 2012. Cliff will be performing on Friday, September 6 in between Founding Fathers and The String Cheese Incident’s sets.

As previously reported, the Interlocken Festival will take place at the Oak Ridge Farm in Arrington, VA September 5-8. The event will feature performances by Neil Young & Crazy Horse, Furthur, Widespread Panic, The String Cheese Incident, Gov’t Mule, The Black Crowes, Tedeschi Trucks Band, The Warren Haynes Band, Punch Brothers, Keller & The Keels and more. A number of the acts will play multiple sets and the String Cheese Incident will be joined by Zac Brown of The Zac Brown Band for a special Zac Brown Incident, while Widespread Panic will be joined by John Fogerty for a special set. Furthur will also play Workingman’s Dead in its entirety during one of their shows. In addition, Interlocken recently released the details of its daily lineups.

General admission tickets to the Interlocken Festival are currently on sale for $249, with student discount tickets going for $180. There are also a number of VIP packages, including a Super VIP package that includes access to an exclusive acoustic performance by Furthur.
