Dawes, who are profiled on the cover of the June issue of Relix, will appear on The Late Show With David Letterman this evening. The program will air on CBS at 11:35pm.

The members of Dawes are in New York for a series of performances. On Saturday night, the LA-based group headlined New York’s Terminal 5. At the end of their set, Dawes invited opening act Shovels & Rope out for a cover of Traveling Wilburys’ “End of the Line.” On Monday night, Dawes played an intimate acoustic show at New York’s Housing Works Bookstore Cafe. Sarah Lee Guthrie & Johnny Irion opened the night.

After their performances, both groups moved over to Williamsburg to perform at a private space as part of Relix‘s June issue release party. Sarah Lee Guthrie, Johnny Irion and their band took the stage first and then, the members of Dawes offered a semi-acoustic set. At the end of their set, Dawes brought out Guthrie and Irion’s upright bassist Charlie Rose to perform on the sing-along “When My Time Comes”
