Umphrey’s McGee Welcome Kevin Sinclair at Summerfest

Saxophonist Kevin Sinclair sat in with Umphrey’s McGee at Milwaukee, WI’s Summerfest last night. The longtime Umphrey’s McGee collaborator—who often performs with the band in Minneapolis and Wisconsin—emerged partway through Umphrey’s McGee’s single-set show for “Pay the Snucka” and David Bowie’s “Let’s Dance.” Last night’s show also included a number of segues, including a run from “Turn & Dub” into “Mail Package” and “Wife Soup” as well as “Deeper” and “Miss Tinkle’s Overture” and “Dear Lord” and “Pay the Snucka” in their encore.

Umphrey’s McGee will perform in Grand Rapids, MI this evening.

Since when did we start counting the amount of segues in a bands shows on Isnt that a given with most bands here? Can you even say more about the music or just length of sing or quantity of segues and copius amounts of covers and old songs.

I drove up from Chitown. I know all the guys and it was awesome to get so many covers. I appreciate UMs dedication to when in doubt go covers or go to 2×2 or divisions. Amazing. THEY BLOW AWAY PHISH AT COVER MUSIC
