The Barr Brothers have confirmed an extensive fall tour. The Montreal-based group will focus mostly on Canada and the United Kingdom, mixing festival dates and headlining appearances. As previously reported, they will also perform at Quincy, CA’s High Sierra Festival this weekend (Andrew and Brad Barr have performed at High Sierra more years than any other musicians.)

The quartet recently played a big show at the Festival de Jazz de Montréal. During their performance, Amy Millan, Evan Cranley, Ellwood Epps, Pietro Amato and Mamadou Koita all joined the folk outfit onstage. The Barr Brothers are currently working on their second full-length album and will likely test out their new batch of songs this fall. They will perform at both the Toronto Urban Roots Festival this afternoon and play a late night set at Lee’s Palace this evening.
