Mike Gordon has shared a key detail about the newest Phish song, “Yarmouth Road.” In a Tweet to fans, Gordon says, “U guys should tweet @scott_murawski & thank him for helping me write that” (the information was also available to fans who downloaded the song from Livephish.com.) Phish debuted the reggae-like “Yarmouth Road” at Saratoga Springs, NY’s Saratoga Performing Arts Center on Friday. They also debuted their version of Trey Anastasio’s “The Architect” and The Apples in Stereo’s “Energy” while performing at SPAC.

A longtime member of veteran jamband Max Creek, Scott Murawski is the guitarist in Gordon’s solo band. Gordon and Murawski recently spent time working on a new batch of songs together. Some songs from their latest songwriting sessions are expected to make their way onto Gordon’s next solo release.
