Thievery Corporation have joined the lineup for Mariaville, NY’s Camp Bisco. The group will play a full-band set at 5:45pm today and the Disco Biscuits will now perform at both 8:15 and 10:45pm today. Thievery Corporation were called in to replace Animal Collective, who cancelled their entire tour due to illness. This is the third time Thievery Corporation have played a full-band set at Camp Bisco.

The Disco Biscuits played their first of six sets at Camp Bisco yesterday. The event hosts opened their set with “7-11,” whose lyrics “I’m gonna go out and jam!/I’m gonna go out and party!/
I got a brand new mission/so bring your ass to the party!” served as a fitting invocation for the weekend. The song moved into “Abraxas,” “Spaga,” the rest of “7-11” and the classic “I-Man” without pausing. (“7-11” was also an appropriate choice given the day, July 11)

As previously reported, Umphrey’s McGee recruited a mix of musicians to fill in for bassist Ryan Stasik, who was unable to attend the show due to the birth of his first child. Those guests included the Disco Biscuits’ Marc Brownstein, Aron Magner and Jon Gutwillig, STS9’s David Murphy and Chicago musician Bryan Doherty. Meanwhile, STS9 brought out The Liquid Horns, which includes Russ Liquid, on “Abcees,” “Vibyl,” “Simulator and “March.” “Simulator” and “March” are two of STS9’s newest tracks and have yet to appear on one of the band’s studio albums.

Camp Bisco continues today.
