Todd Snider has announced the dates for his fall tour. The singer-songwriter will kick off his “Without Shoes” tour in October in Bowling Green, KY. Throughout the tour, Snider’s concerts will feature storytelling, as well as a musical performance. The shows will include two sets of old and new songs and stories, along with daily poems, Q&A sessions and song requests from the audience.

Snider spent some time at Bob Weir’s TRI Studios recording with a new project last May. The band, which features Dave Schools (Widespread Panic), Neal Casal (Chris Robinson Brotherhood), Duane Trucks (Col. Bruce Hampton) and Chad Staehly (Great American Taxi), calls itself the Hard Work Americans. A single from their album is set for release around Labor Day, and the album is tentatively scheduled for release in early 2014.

Snider is also now working on his first book, a mix of memoirs and short stories, to be released in summer 2014 via Da Capo Press.
