New Jersey’s Real Estate are currently in Chicago working on their third full-length studio album. This is the group’s first release since 2011 and first with the band’s current lineup. While in Chicago, the group tested out a new batch of songs during a secret show at The Burlington on Sunday night. (A clip from the performance is available above). The group has also added a few new dates to their previously confirmed West Coast tour. In related news, Real Estate bassist Alex Bleeker has also confirmed a slew of dates with his jam-oriented side-project Alex Bleeker & the Freaks. The late summer run will kick off with a bill alongside Woods at New York’s Bowery Ballroom in July and stretch into September when Real Estate’s tour picks up.
